About Jilly

I am an artist inspired by nature; especially bird species and wild animals. Drawing is essential to my practice, not only the physical mark making but also the opportunity it provides for close observation and engagement with the subject. Birds, especially birds of prey, are appearing more and more in my work inspired by actual encounters, literature and an increasing interest in conservation issues. (April 2017).
